Axie Infinity launches community bounties and expands Axie Quest features

New Bounty System Goes Live

Axie Infinity has rolled out a fresh set of community bounties that give players more ways to earn rewards. There are five different types now available, covering combat, harvesting, exploration, dojo performance, and AXP gains. The point values range from 15 to 400 points, which I think makes sense for both casual players and those who really dive deep into the game.

All these bounties are accessible through the Premier Bounty Board. The interesting part is that they’re working toward merging the Standard and Premier boards into one unified system. That should be done by late October, from what I understand. Having everything in one place will probably make it easier to track progress and rewards.

Axie Quest Evolution Continues

Axie Quest itself keeps growing as this community-built experience that combines different game styles. It’s got Match3 puzzles mixed with RPG progression, and it connects with Axie Core features. Players can use their actual axies to fight, collect items, and compete in arenas. The cool thing is that your axie’s accessories, levels, and evolved parts actually matter in the gameplay.

There are different modes to explore. Wild Hunt offers PvE exploration with monster battles during puzzle challenges. Then there’s the Arena for PvP matches with leaderboards and AXP rewards. And the Axie Dojo serves as a training area with some light PvP elements for people who want to practice before jumping into more competitive play.

Reward System Changes

This move toward a unified bounty system seems to be taking cues from seasonal pass formats that you see in other major games. But they’re keeping the Web3 elements front and center with digital ownership and active participation being key themes.

The developers mentioned that these current updates are just building blocks for bigger improvements coming down the line. As October progresses, players should see better access to quest content, clearer ways to earn rewards, and improved utility for their assets across different game modes.

What strikes me about this rollout is that it serves dual purposes. It’s both giving players new content to engage with right now, while also testing the waters for the next phase of Axie’s integrated bounty and quest ecosystem. The point structure seems designed to keep people coming back even after the initial excitement wears off.

I’m curious to see how the community responds to these changes. The range of point values suggests they’re trying to cater to different play styles and commitment levels. Some players might just dip in for the 15-point bounties, while others will go for the 400-point challenges.

The integration of actual axie attributes into gameplay is a smart move, I think. It gives those digital assets more utility beyond just being collectibles. Your investment in leveling up your axies or getting them special parts actually translates into better performance in Axie Quest.

This feels like a step toward making the overall Axie Infinity experience more cohesive. Instead of having separate systems that don’t talk to each other, they’re building connections between different parts of the ecosystem. That should, in theory, create a more engaging experience for players who stick around.
